About the Fair
The Ann Arbor State Street District Art Fair is an award winning art fair that, along with three other art fairs, transform Ann Arbor, Michigan into one of the most admired and largest art fair destinations in the country. For more than 50 years, 400,000 fair goers have descended upon the streets of Ann Arbor for three days every July.
A juried fair, the Ann Arbor State Street District Art Fair distinguishes itself by showcasing an eclectic mix of the finest art and hand-crafted items by talented artists alongside local businesses amid the beautiful skyline of Ann Arbor’s historic theater district. With its emerging artists section, the State Street District Art Fair continually looks at developing the artists and talent for the next 50 years as it continues to host the best Midwest art fair.
Fine Art
The standards set for acceptance reflect in the artists' dedication to excellence and quality. A jury of both practicing artists and other arts professionals has the task of screening prospective exhibitors, always looking for fresh and innovative approaches as well as stunning examples of age-old techniques.
MarketPlace
Visit the MarketPlace and you’ll find over 60 vendors of all sorts! From pet products, children’s items and bath & beauty, to fashion and wearables, accessories, home decor & more. There is truly something to be found for everyone!
Food & Sidewalk Sales
The Ann Arbor State Street Art Fair distinguishes itself by showcasing an eclectic mix of the finest art by talented artists alongside its local businesses amid the beautiful skyline of Ann Arbor’s historic theater district.
The retail climate explodes with a host of merchant displays and food of all kinds as outdoor shoppers search for sales or relax while enjoying a beverage or meal amid the throngs of artist displays.

Art-Go-Round
POWERED BY MAY MOBILITY
The Art-Go-Round provides shuttle service around the perimeter of the Ann Arbor Art Fair, moving fairgoers from one end of the fair to the other and allowing folks to shop the breadth of the 30 city blocks without having to walk back to their starting point. Hop on a shuttle at any of the seven Art-Go-Round stops located around the exterior of the fair and identified below.

Vehicles link all three fairs
The Art-Go-Round powered by MAY’s A2GO service brings multiple Autonomous Toyota Sienna’s [including one wheelchair-accessible vehicle -WAMS] to the streets surrounding the Ann Arbor Art Fair.
The MAY shuttles operate using self-driving technology, but an Autonomous Vehicle Operator will always be in the driver’s seat to monitor the vehicle’s behavior and ensure safety for all on board.
HOW TO USE
Just line up at one of the seven stops and hop on the next May Mobility vehicle that arrives! Each will have an Art-Go-Round logo on them to identify them as part of the shuttle service.

2024 Free Wheelchair Rental

Stop by two different wheelchair rental tents at this year’s event in order to borrow a wheelchair to more easily navigate this 30 city block event! The free wheelchair rental program is Presented By Trinity Health with wheelchairs provided by Binson’s. A driver’s license will be required at the time of rental.

Are you attending the Ann Arbor Art Fair as a visitor or vendor? The City of Ann Arbor encourages everyone to sign up to receive emergency notifications from the A2 Emergency Alert system.
