EVENT SUMMARY

The Ann Arbor State Street District Art Fair is an award winning art fair that, along with three other art fairs, transform Ann Arbor, Michigan into one of the most admired and largest art fair destinations in the country. For more than 50 years, 400,000 fair goers have descended upon the streets of Ann Arbor for three days every July.

A juried fair, the Ann Arbor State Street District Art Fair distinguishes itself by showcasing an eclectic mix of the finest art and hand-crafted items by talented artists alongside local businesses amid the beautiful skyline of Ann Arbor’s historic theater district. With its emerging artists section, the State Street District Art Fair continually looks at developing the artists and talent for the next 50 years as it continues to host the best Midwest art fair.

Application Process

Upon clicking the link to the 2024 artist application, you will be prompted to fill out the application on the Zapplication website. You will find all updated requirements, marketing information, rules and regulations, as well as booth information. Your designs must fit within the following categories in order to apply:

PROMOTING THE FINE ART FAIR AND ARTISTS

The State Street District Art Fair works jointly with the other three art fairs to market the Ann Arbor Art Fair (as it is known to and recognized by the public). The power of the collective gives a large amount of area marketing for the event. Marketing pieces include:

• Feature opportunities on the State Street District Facebook page as well as the Ann Arbor Art Fair Facebook page and other social media platforms.

• Listing on the StateStreetDistrict.org website.

• Additional listing on TheAnnArborArtFair.com website.
